JHU protest march against panel

The Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) held a protest march recently against UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon"s move to appoint a three-member panel to advise him on Sri Lanka.

JHU Leader Ven. Omalpe Sobhitha Thera and party Chairman Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thera are seen here in front of the UN compound in Colombo flanked by other senior monks of the party.

Western Provincial Canceller Minister Udaya Gammanpila , JHU National Organizer Nishantha Sri Warnasingha were also participated the protest.

The Jathika Hela Urumaya led a protest march to the United Nations office in Colombo against UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s appointment of an expert panel to report on the alleged human rights violations during the last stages of the war against the LTTE.
